Hathaway LLC acquired the Davies Realty Lease in the Kern Front Oilfield in 2009. The lease was developed in the 1970's by Chevron and subsequently abandoned due to low oil prices in 1985. In late 2009 Hathaway LLC drilled two new wells and re-completed an existing idle well for water disposal. Currently the company has plans to cyclic steam the property and evaluate its results.
